Six Sentence Sunday - Her Devoted Vampire - How it All Began

Welcome back, Sixers! Today I'm hanging out on the Las Vegas Strip with an author friend Morgan Kearns, but I wanted to thank you for stopping by my snippet of Her Devoted Vampire for Six Sentence Sunday. I realize there are many authors on the SSS List, so thank you for taking the time to visit me.

In this snippet, Bridget Shanahan has arrived at her favorite coffee shop after a tough day and she's trying to lose herself in a romance novel. The first line is from her novel.

“You’re mine,” he growled, and excitement shivered through her at the menace in his voice. “Never forget!” She stared up at him and swooned.
          “Oh, get real!”
Bridget Shanahan damn near threw her book across the expanse of comfortable chairs and black lacquered tables beyond her own, but she didn’t want to kill anyone.
As if I’d ever believe she’d sleep with a man who kidnapped her!

Oh, the sweet irony of what's to come. :D Thanks so much for stopping by. I have a my favorite authors on the SSS list that I visit and a few of them are Cara Bristol, Zee Monodee, Sarah Ballance, Goran Zidar, and Gem Sivad. They're worth a read! :)
